You will be so eager for your booked day to reach then you start your memorable safari when you are driving or being driven in a rented car.
The experience you will drive will indeed be very memorable for you to have this memorable safari or trip , you will be required to wake up as early as 8am then start you travel or drive northwards from Kampala- Uganda’s capital city. The journey to Masindi will be full of chitchat amongst your selves when you are travelling in the car. You will have enroute stopovers which will give opportunities to have lunch and this will be in Masindi town, the most outstanding town before you reach Murchison falls national park. If you leave Kampala by 8am, you will be expected to reach the park by 3 pm depending on the speed you will be driving your car.
When you reach the park, you will cross to the headquarters at Para and then proceed to the top of the falls immediately for some scenic viewing. It is indeed an amazing experience for you and will be the first refreshment you will get after you have reached the park. You will also see water gushing out the gorge at a very close range. Indeed this experience is so breathtaking and you cannot afford to miss taking some pictures for your albums and show them to the people you left back at home. When you are already in the park, the second day, you will have a leisurely breakfast then after with your packed lunch, you will go for a game drive in the park and this will give you an interesting excitement and hope of seeing the lions and leopards. You will be a campaigned by a guide who will assure or tell you about the possibility of seeing or not seeing some of the animals when you are in the park.
The ferry crossing is an uneventful and after driving a little distance past Pakuba lodge, you will have to see a number of animals including; the giraffes along with antelopes and then elephants. Other animals will be sighted as you do proceed further. You will then be told by the guide that to see the lions, you have to drive much further. After you have encountered the lions, you will stop for some pictures. You will have a break and during this time you will have to eat your lunch before you proceed for other activities.
You will summarize your day with a launch cruise or boat cruise at the bottom of the Nile river within the park. During this activity, you will see a number of crocodiles, hippos, different species of birds and antelopes. All these will paint your view as you will be cruised along the Nile. After this wonderful activity, you will then travel back to Uganda’s capital city Kampala arriving late in the evening with great memories of Murchison falls national park. This will be a worthwhile trip that everyone should take at least participate in once in their lifetime.
